Please note, our main wedding venue is approximately 1 hour outside of Rome.

We have arranged shuttles to transport guests to and from the venue. You can find the timings here

Very Important
If you miss the shuttle, transportation is your responsibility and will cost approximately €100 one way by taxi or private car. So please plan accordingly and be on time!

Transportation In Rome

Taxi Fares from the Airports to the Hotel

From Fiumicino Airport (FCO):

  • To Cardo Roma Hotel (located in the EUR district): Approximately €55–€70, depending on traffic and time of day. ​

From Ciampino Airport (CIA):​

  • To Cardo Roma Hotel: Approximately €40,

Transportations Options in Rome

  • Taxis: Official Roman taxis are white, with a "TAXI" sign on top and a meter. You can find them at taxi stands or call one through an app like itTaxi.

  • The Hotel can also help you call one.

  • Uber: Uber is available in Rome, but note that it's limited to Uber Black (professional drivers). Prices can be higher than traditional taxis.

  • Public Transport: Rome has buses, metro lines, and trams. If you're feeling adventurous, it's a great way to explore!

That said, for key wedding events, we’ll have organised shuttles for your convenience.

Sikh Wedding Trandtions

We are so excited to share the beauty of a traditional Sikh wedding with you! Here’s what to expect during the various ceremonies and rituals:

The Baraat

Before the main ceremony begins, the groom’s side of the family arrives in a festive procession called the Baraat. Picture music, dancing, dhol (drums), and vibrant colors as the groom makes his entrance. Guests from both sides are welcome and encouraged to join the dancing and celebration—it’s a high-energy, joyful way to kick off the wedding day. So bring your best moves and get ready to party early!

The Anand Karaj (Wedding Ceremony)

The Sikh wedding ceremony, known as the Anand Karaj, means "Blissful Union" and is deeply spiritual and serene.

  • Head Covering: Please cover your head out of respect during the ceremony. Scarves will be provided.

  • Shoes Off: Everyone is required to remove their shoes before entering the ceremony space.

  • Seating: Guests will need to be seated on the ground

  • The Ceremony: The couple walks around the Guru Granth Sahib (Sikh holy scripture) four times, each round representing a different stage of love and commitment.

This ceremony is rooted in equality, humility, and spiritual connection—and we are honored to share it with all of you.

Hair & Make-up Services

For those looking to glam up for the big day, the hotel features an on-site salon offering professional hair and makeup services.
